The Virtual media Conversion Option allows customers to take advantage of the virtual media capability of the new IBM LCM2 and GCMs KVM switches. This feature allows a single optical drive connected to the switch to be shared between servers on the switch that are each connected to the switch with a VCO. It allows unattended (at the server) software upgrades, etc. The VCO does not support chaining as other conversion options do.
